13-12-2008 Environment Trust practical work
St Margarets Environment Trust for Richmond upon Thames
Kilmorey Mausoleum
Kilmorey Mausoleum – If you haven’t seen it before it’s well worth a visit! The Trust is responsible for this walled and “secret” garden and we will be maintaining the paths, removing ivy from the walls and undertaking general maintenance. Meet at the site (behind a high wall almost opposite the Ailsa Tavern on St. Margaret’s Road, Isleworth). The Environment Trust runs practical volunteering work mornings at various locations around the borough, usually on the last Saturday of each month. All are welcome at these events - it is helpful for planning purposes if you can let us know at least three days before each event if you intend to take part. Please try to arrive promptly at the start for the initial briefing and stay as long as you wish. All you need is a pair of tough boots or shoes, some old clothes and a robust sense of humour! Gloves and tools are provided. For further information and to be added to our circulation list, please contact the office
